If I could only have one garden tool...

Well I really couldn't choose just one tool but I definitely have a favorite. I bought the Twist Tiller last year and really used it a lot. The feature I found handy is the cross bar at the bottom where you can use your foot to push it into the ground. The tiller is very durable and easy to use. I was out with it yesterday getting some of my garden areas ready for planting. It won't replace our mechanical tiller for big areas but it is nice for working on the many little spots I have to till. No this isn't an advertisement. I just like my little tiller. I would love to hear about what item is indispensable in your garden.

Ok, I'll try that out. My favorite are the various pruners I carry all over the garden. From the small to the large--I can't live without them.

That looks like an interesting tool, I have never seen it before.
I would have to say my favorite garden tool is my Felco pruner, with my 'lady sized' shovel bringing in a close second. But then, come to think of it, I really love my Flowtron leaf shredder I got last fall, too. :-)

Flowergaredngirl and Connie- I agree, the pruners are indispensable too. But I still love my hard workin' Twist Tiller!

Connie- that Flowtron leaf eater looked pretty cool when you posted it on your blog. Unfortunately I was unable to convince my husband that I desperately need one but I will keep trying! I will never admit to having too many garden tools but that is OK since hubby always just has to have one more tool for the garage or workshop.

Have that, or something like it. Love it.

Never heard of the Twist Tiller, but it reminds me of the Garden Weasel that we had years ago...it broke so we never replaced it.

My husband is the "tool" expert. He buys them and I use um!

Tainterturtles- I considered getting the garden weasel or garden claw. I almost didn't get the twist tiller because it is a bit pricey. However, I can't imagine that I would be able break this thing (unless I manage to run it over with my car or something else brilliant like that!).

Thanks for visiting!
